Garlic & Olive's STORY

Our Story

We are of Greek-Cypriot descent and are a family run business. We have a catering background and food is our passion, we love nothing more than to share some of our home cooking with you.  The very best dishes that Cyprus and Greece has to offer.

 

We take great pride in preparing simple, healthy, simple and delicious dishes from only the freshest and finest ingredients using locally sourced, seasonal and organic produce where possible.  And when we mean local, we may mean as local as our back garden where we produce much of the produce used.

all of The food we serve is prepared from scratch in our home kitchen. Our salads and dips are also a particular speciality so with every menu we will offer a choice of homemade super seasonal salads and dips, home-prepared olives, all to brighten even the dullest British day and bring a touch of Mediterranean sunshine to any event.

In addition to our traditional Greek Souvlaki menu, we offer a range of other menus inspired greece, cyprus and the Mediterranean region including great quality pasta with delicious homemade sauces.  If there is a particular speciality you want, just let us know and we will make it happen, we can flex our offering to your particular specifications.  We are also able to offer a range of delicious homemade desserts to round off your delicious meal.

We are based in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire.  We are registered with the local authority, are fully insured and are rated 5* Hygiene Rating with the Food Standards Agency.
